What to Know Before Your Procedure:

Facial filler injections are a true technical art and are taken very seriously at Shot Bar. We take time to do a detailed analysis and communicate with you to create the best aesthetic shape and results. Injectable fillers may seem like a simple procedure, but they are both an art and a science.

Recovery and Results:

There is no downtime for facial filler procedures, but we do have the following aftercare suggestions. To help reduce swelling, apply an ice pack or cold compress to the area for 15 minutes at a time. If you tend to bruise easily, a vitamin K cream or arnica gel may be useful. Drink plenty of water. Avoid wearing makeup or applying anything to the area that could spread bacteria, including facial products, for 24 hours. No strenuous activity or exercise for 24 hours either. Try to sleep face up and slightly elevated if you experience swelling. It may also be helpful to avoid sun exposure and extreme temperatures for 24 hours, and dental procedures for 3-4 weeks.
