First, we get you comfortable so you can sit back and relax for your treatment. Whether you need the Hollywood Spectra for the Laser Peel or for tattoo removal, each session typically lasts around 30 minutes. Prior to getting the Hollywood Laser Peel, we first prep your skin with a patented carbon lotion. Then, we’ll move the laser device over the treatment area to heat the lotion, where you may feel what our hotshots describe as a mild tingling sensation.

You can expect minimal downtime after your Hollywood Spectra treatment. There are a few contraindications that may prevent you from getting treatment, such as certain allergies, skin infections, and certain medical conditions. If you’ve tanned in the past few weeks, we’ll likely ask you to wait until your tan has faded. We’ll cover all of this in your consultation, so if you’re not sure, go ahead and schedule with us, and we’ll discuss your treatment options.
Your recovery with the Hollywood Spectra will be straightforward! After tattoo removal in Lincoln Park, we ask you to not expose the treatment area to water until the following day. If any scabbing or flaking occurs, don’t pick at it—let it fall off naturally.
If you received a Laser Peel, we ask that you avoid products with active ingredients such as retinols or AHAs for at least 48 hours.
