Both PRX Derm Perfexion and PRX-PLUS are based on a unique synergy of trichloroacetic acid (TCA), hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), and kojic acid, designed to stimulate dermal remodeling while preserving epidermal integrity. The result: collagen activation and tissue renewal without surface injury.

Step 1
Consultation & Prep
We want to get to know you, so your first step at Shot Bar is an in-person or remote consultation! We’ll chat about your health, skin, and wellness history. Once we factor in your goals and skin type, we’ll get you scheduled. For your appointment, we ask that you avoid using products that may interact with the peel.
Step 2
Treatment
Treatments are usually about 30 minutes and consist of two product applications massaged deeply into the skin. You might feel some tingling during the treatment. We follow with a nourishing moisturizer. For most of our patients, we usually recommend a series of four treatments spaced no more than ten days apart.
Step 3
Aftercare
There’s no downtime, so you can apply your makeup afterward! There may be some mild redness in the treatment area or swelling around the eyes in the days following treatment. This should subside quickly. We strongly encourage you take home a PRX Home Care Kit to maintain your PRX Glow!

PRX Derm Perfexion is sold in a package of four sessions. PRX PLUS is sold in a package of five sessions, but more treatments may be needed to help achieve your skin goals.
Effects of PRX Peels may last up to a year. It’s recommended patients return for follow-up maintenance around 6 to 12 months after their last peel.
Treatments are in four or five 20 to 30-minute sessions, no more than 10 days apart.
