Often called “Botox” or “tox,” wrinkle relaxers are injectable neuromodulators that temporarily reduce activity in targeted muscles. This helps soften the lines that form with repeated expressions, including frowning, squinting, and raising your eyebrows.

Depending on your anatomy and clinical assessment, treatment may address:

Small amounts of the selected product are placed into targeted muscles using a fine needle. The injections are quick and may feel like brief pinches.

After Treatment
You may have temporary bumps, redness, tenderness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites. We’ll provide aftercare instructions and explain when to check in about your results.

There is no universal number. Your dose depends on the product, muscle strength, anatomy, treatment area, and goals. Units are specific to each brand and are not interchangeable, so comparing unit counts across different products can be misleading.
“Baby Botox” is an informal term for a more conservative treatment approach. It isn’t a separate product. A lower dose may offer a subtler change, but it may also provide less correction or wear off sooner.
No. A lip flip relaxes a portion of the muscle around the upper lip and may create a subtle change in how the lip shows. Filler adds volume and can address shape and definition. We’ll help you understand which approach fits your goals.
Wrinkle relaxers work best on lines caused by muscle movement. Lines visible at rest may soften but may not disappear. Texture, sun damage, and volume loss may benefit from a different treatment or a combination approach.
Most patients return to their usual daily activities after treatment, although visible bruising or swelling can occur. Follow your provider’s aftercare instructions and allow time before important events.
Possible side effects include bruising, swelling, tenderness, headache, asymmetry, and temporary eyelid or brow drooping. Effects can rarely spread beyond the injection area and cause serious problems. Seek immediate medical care for difficulty swallowing, speaking, or breathing.
No. Your provider will review your medical history and medications to determine whether treatment is appropriate. Tell us about previous reactions to botulinum toxin, muscle or nerve conditions, swallowing or breathing problems, pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Treatment should not be performed through an active infection at the planned injection site.
