Of course, our team is led by our owner and operator, Lindsey, a board-certified nurse practitioner. She’s at Shot Bar every day to help clients achieve the best possible skin, health, and wellness results.
Lindsey Sikora Subrinsky

Lindsey Sikora, our brave trailblazing founder is a board-certified nurse practitioner who has practiced medicine for over a decade. She graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing. She has worked in internal medicine, critical care, hospital medicine, long-term acute care, and in the outpatient setting.
Before Lindsey’s work as a nurse practitioner, she was a registered nurse working in Level 1 trauma, emergency room, and intensive care. Lindsey has also worked in Nairobi, Kenya, between 2013 and 2014, where she offered healthcare and assisted local doctors in establishing medical clinics in various communities.
Inspired by modern medical aesthetic treatments, having a med spa was always a dream of Lindsey’s. Starting a post-pandemic business in Chicago would have been a long shot without Lindsey at the helm. Her expansive career in medicine sets her work apart from other aestheticians in Lincoln Park.
Lindsey offers a selection of services that most other med spas don’t. She’s a crack shot at vetting treatments for Shot Bar. (She reads medical journals for fun!) She only offers extensively researched treatments proven effective by medical professionals. All treatments are provided, in signature Shot Bar fashion, in a retro-speakeasy/parlor setting.
