Lindsey Sikora, our brave trailblazing founder is a board-certified nurse practitioner who has practiced medicine for over a decade. She graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing. She has worked in internal medicine, critical care, hospital medicine, long-term acute care, and in the outpatient setting.

Before Lindsey’s work as a nurse practitioner, she was a registered nurse working in Level 1 trauma, emergency room, and intensive care. Lindsey has also worked in Nairobi, Kenya, between 2013 and 2014, where she offered healthcare and assisted local doctors in establishing medical clinics in various communities.

Inspired by modern medical aesthetic treatments, having a med spa was always a dream of Lindsey’s. Starting a post-pandemic business in Chicago would have been a long shot without Lindsey at the helm. Her expansive career in medicine sets her work apart from other aestheticians in Lincoln Park.

Lindsey offers a selection of services that most other med spas don’t. She’s a crack shot at vetting treatments for Shot Bar. (She reads medical journals for fun!) She only offers extensively researched treatments proven effective by medical professionals. All treatments are provided, in signature Shot Bar fashion, in a retro-speakeasy/parlor setting.

Meet Sarah “Lala” Psihogios (Sa-hoy-is), Shot Bar’s very own Beauty Guru & Lash Artist Extraordinaire. Hailing from just outside of Chicago, Sarah brings over two decades of expertise in the cosmetology industry to our squad.

Sarah’s passion for aesthetics runs deep. As a little girl, she was already mastering the art of hair and makeup, transforming her mom, grandmother, and sister into beauty icons whenever they’d let her. But Sarah’s talents don’t stop there. She’s also a fierce artist, dabbling in oil painting, watercolor, photography, piano, and even transforming vintage furniture into stunning works of art with her sister at their company “The Painted Swallow.”

Sarah worked as a hair colorist for several years before becoming a mom to her brilliant son, Jack. After making waves as a colorist, Sarah’s journey led her to the world of freelance makeup artistry. But it wasn’t until 2020 that she discovered her true calling: lash artistry. Sarah loves lashing because of the precision and subtle beauty of the technique.

In her free time, Sarah indulges in cuddles with her two feline fur babies, Gus and George. Outdoorsy by nature, she’s often found capturing stunning shots, hitting the trails, or paddling her way through scenic waters. A fitness enthusiast, she crushes it at the gym, balancing her active lifestyle with cozy movie nights and unleashing her creative side through painting. But above all, Sarah cherishes every opportunity to hang with her loved ones, whether it’s a laid-back get together or an adventurous escapade.
